OK, first day out, we ran afoul of a cranky old Yooper. Turns out the gate that looked just like a USFS gate was to his private property-with no signs! Then, we decided to just go look around. After many false starts, we finally ended up on county road 209... Yeah right! three hours to drive ten miles, pulle dhte cable three times, lost a mirror and had great fun, only to find a cable across the trail at the exit. No signs, no lock, but a cable...
